Iran Green Trade Fair 2017 ends in promising business results on the short run!

Tehran, Friday April 28, 2017.IGTF, the name of the last year launched Iran Green Trade Fair and especially designed for a quick and strong development of the Iran Horticulture Industry, was held already for the second time last week in the Tehran Exhibition Center. From the 21st to the 23rd of April more than 5,000 trade visitors from mainly Iran came to visit the event, which lasted 3 days. Exhibitors were very satisfied with the high quality of attendees that came in from many regions of Iran.

The 1st edition was held last year in September when 2 halls were needed to accommodate the 75 exhibitors that participated from many countries such as Turkey, Holland, France, Belgium, Spain, Kenya, Latvia, Germany, Iran, Italy and others. The fair turned out to be a great success and organizers decided to hold the next edition in the first quarter of 2017. This 2nd edition took place last week and reconfirmed the optimism of last year’s outcome of the fair. Especially for technical hardware companies, such as greenhouse builders, machinery companies and other companies supplying products and services directly related to climate controlled production of vegetables, fruits, flowers and plants, this edition proved to be the key event for the Iran Horticulture sector. Among various other reported concrete sales, a large greenhouse project contract was signed. Exhibiting breeders also confirmed that IGTF is becoming an important platform for the Iranian cutflower, potted and bedding plant growers.

The next dates for the 3rd edition of the Iran horti fair IGTF are underway and will be announced before the end of June.

Beware of Possible Hotel Fraud

There are 'unofficial' companies aggressively pursuing attendees/exhibitors to book discounted hotel rooms through their company. Unfortunately, some past attendees/exhibitors have fallen prey to these companies and have either:

  • Been relocated with little or no warning
  • Lost their significant deposits
  • Not had the guest rooms they thought they had booked
  • Not had the hotel they thought they had booked
  • etc.

This has caused great hardship to these companies and individuals. Reservations made through an agency will be at your own risk. We advise you to book directly with hotels and not through a third party.

Such companies should be avoided, as there are no agencies affiliated to HPP Exhibitions, other than those mentioned on our website!

IRAN GREEN TRADE FAIR’S FIRST EDITION SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED!

Tehran, Tuesday September 20, 2016. The first edition of the new international horticulture trade fair IGTF was held with great success earlier this month in the international Permanent Fairground of Tehran. During all exhibition days the halls were literally packed with trade visitors, and for this reason exhibitors were extremely happy with the results of this 3 day event. Already after the second day, practically every exhibitor expressed the wish to re book for next year’s edition and many as well asking for larger stand spaces.

Although the first edition was not big in size (about 71 especially international companies participated in 2 smaller sized halls, totaling about 1500 m2), the exhibition had a very professional appearance and positive business atmosphere with busy footpaths and stands. The presence of many growers and other important players of the Iranian horticulture industry, greatly contributed to the success of the first edition of IGTF.

In order to meet the demand for exhibit space in IGTF, it was decided to set the next edition in April of 2017. The management of the Tehran International Permanent Fairground assigned a larger exhibition Hall to HPP and therefore HPP was able to set the dates for next year, i.e. Friday April 21 to Sunday April 23.
